Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy from the Storyboard Blog!

Well, I was really going to put up the next Wall-E post this week. I really was.

Then I got work.

So I’ve been working.

Funny how I always seem to snag a new gig at the beginning of December, so I have to do work over the holidays.

Oh well. Said work will pay for those holidays, so it’s all good.

Then I had to do ‘holiday stuff‘. So I didn’t get it done.

Then, lo and behold, it actually IS the holidays, so there you go. No Wall-E post.

I know it’s not that big a deal because many of you are doing some sort of ‘holiday thang’ anyway.

So Wall-E is still coming with the Close-Up lesson.

Fear not. 😉

It just might happen next week. Or a bit later. We’ll see.

In the meantime, I just want to wish you a very happy ‘whatever you celebrate’ (if anything) and one flipping fantastic 2009!

At the very least, have a very nice weekend.

I appreciate each and every one of you who stops by to read the storyboard blog.

Thank you soooo much!

Now let’s have a drink and eat something totally bad for us and enjoy.

Cheers to all!

K

Was his name Stinky? I can’t remember clearly… But there was a Ren & Stimpy Christmas episode that featured a fart that left home to be a star… I think… Just proving my fandom… Maybe I’ll just mention I owned the video games and tried to watch every epsiode even though I didn’t have cable at the time.

Anyway, hope you had a Happy Happy Holiday that was filled with Joy Joy!

I must admit I’m not really up on my Ren & Stimpy as much as I should be (or should I?), so I couldn’t tell ya. But it sounds delightful.

And Happy, Happy Holidays to you too T!
You bring much Joy, Joy to the comment section here and elsewhere. 🙂

I was hoping you would be up on the R&S… but that’s okay. It’s on my list to collect the DVDs. And sadly I didn’t get Wall-e… but I’ll wait a month until my birthday to see if anyone surprises me.

By the way I tagged you on my blog for a meme. Doesn’t seem like it’d fit the theme of your blog, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m linking bloggy love.

Back to Wall-e, looking forward to that last shot, but the holiday season isn’t quite over yet, and you have your newly snagged gig… so I understand and will wait patiently.

Shedding tears that you didn’t get Wall-E for Christmas T. You weren’t on the ‘naughty’ list were you?? *gasp* Got my fingers crossed for your birthday (you wouldn’t be a fellow Aquarius would you?).

Thanks for the tag though. I wasn’t going to participate because I had done one before and told myself that would be the first and last meme on this blog. As it turns out I’ve done that one anyway! (But it was seven facts). You’ll have to hunt the archives to find it. 🙂

And there are TWO shots left in the Wall-E series! The Close-Up and the Extreme Close-Up. And I may do a wrap-up post where I put them all together. So more Wall-E to come.

It’s just…yeah…that work thing. But I’ll get to it!!

Karen, congrats on the job (even if the timing sucks)! And happy kinda belated holidays! Hope you got a few minutes off to enjoy it some.

Thanks Debi! It’s not so bad. I took some time this past week and now I have to dive in, but it’s all good. The income is good timing!

Hope you had a great one and have a fantastic year ahead of you. 🙂

    Me? Naughty? Never!

And yes, I am a fellow Aquarius. I guess I am in good company? I hear they are highly creative folk. I read the horoscopes for fun and it’s quite interesting how well the descriptions for my sign describes a chunk of my personality. ‘Tis all with a grain of salt though.

But as my sisters would say “get that money!” so enjoy the work, we (yes, I’ll speak for all of your fans) will wait patiently for the next TWO Wall-E posts.

I shall seek your 7 facts soon, maybe next week when I go back to work and I don’t feel like working. I still need to explore the past posts anyway to soak up more of your knowledge so I don’t ask questions you already answered. :o)

Yay for Aquarius! Yes, we are a creative bunch. When I really ‘get’ someone and they ‘get’ me back, very often they are Aquarians.

I’ll bet there’s a bunch out there that read here.

And new post up tomorrow! I just can’t resist posting on the last day of the year. So grab a glass of bubbly to read it. 🙂

And “fans”?? You flatter me sir.

I didn’t get Wall-E for Christmas either, and I was so convinced I would! Damn them…it’s because they haven’t seen it yet. They don’t know why I’d want it so badly!

Oh well. I’ll have to treat myself! 🙂

Hope you managed to get in some holidays. I have always, always, got work on holidays. This is my first Christmas in 6 years I didn’t have to do it during the holidays (I finished just before Christmas Eve). Still, I’m so tired I feel I could use a few months’ break, never mind a week! I haven’t felt in the least bit inspired to do more than watch a movie or read. And tonight, tonight I’m finally taking that bath. 🙂

Can’t wait to read the next post tomorrow!

Aww, you didn’t get it either? Bunch of Grinchy-Poos out there.

Yes, treat yourself someday. A nice little reward for your hard work. You deserve it. AND that bath. Hope it was awesome.

Wishing you wonderful things for 2009 Steph. 🙂
